Ruth D’Monte
Secretary
Ruth D’monte attended her first camp at the age of 12, and knew from that moment that this would be her world, and her future. Pursuing the dream, she attended all the camps that she could as a child, volunteered as soon as she could, with Scripture Union and Kids Games, trained as program director and activity leader at Camp Coolamatong, and finally set out to build a camp community. A community that would reach out and work alongside the underprivileged communities in Chennai. In 2014, Camp Canaan was established, and it has provided a strong and vibrant platform to run toward the vision, and carry out the great commission of making disciples and equipping them to grow as leaders, through adventure camping.
