Who We Are

Indian Christian Camping Association (ICCA) is a non-profit, non – denominational organisation, focused on sharing Christ’s love, making disciples, and servanthood leadership through camping and experiential learning, with the support of its members. ICCA is a network association of Christian camps, conference & retreat centers, outdoor & adventure activity service providers, and individual members in India. ICCA aspires to promote outdoor education/experiential learning approach as a tool for transforming children, youth and adults, towards a whole-person development. ICCA was legally registered in 2015, but has been functional since 2011. The association is managed by the Board of Members. ICCA ensures the advancement of Christian Camping, to the unreached places, through its unique mission approach, in India. ICCA is enabling our members to deliver the best hospitality service and powerful experience of outdoor adventures that allow guests and campers to discover purpose and passion in their life.

Connect is ICCA’s premier national conference, designed to bring together campsite leaders, outdoor educators, ministry partners, and industry experts for an inspiring and collaborative experience. This annual gathering serves as a hub for learning, networking, and leadership development, equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to enhance their impact in outdoor ministry and camping.

The ICCA Outdoor Leadership Course equips participants with essential skills in adventure-based learning, team building, and wilderness leadership. Designed for aspiring camp leaders and outdoor educators, the program integrates experiential learning, risk management, and faith-based principles to develop confident and responsible leaders. Campfire Conversations by ICCA is an interactive online session where professionals from various fields share their expertise on leadership, personal growth, and ministry. Held quarterly over Zoom, these one-hour sessions provide a platform for engaging discussions, Q&A, and practical insights. Led by experienced professionals, Campfire Conversations offer a space for learning, networking, and equipping participants with valuable knowledge to enhance their leadership and impact.

ICCA offers diverse internship opportunities in India and internationally, providing hands-on experience in camp leadership, outdoor education, and ministry. These internships, hosted by various camps and organizations, equip participants with practical skills, cultural exposure, and leadership development. Through immersive training and mentorship, interns gain valuable insights to serve effectively in Christian camping and related fields.

ICCA with CCI Worldwide

The Indian Christian Camping Association (ICCA) is a proud associate member of Christian Camping International (CCI) Worldwide. CCI is a global alliance of Christian camping associations, working together to support Christ-centered camps, conferences, and retreat ministries around the world.

As part of CCI, ICCA connects with like-minded organizations, sharing resources, training, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of Christian camping in India. Through this partnership, ICCA is able to offer valuable international networking opportunities, cross-cultural exchanges, and global leadership programs for its members, furthering our collective mission to empower youth and build God’s Kingdom through outdoor ministries.

Outdoor Leadership Course
